The Lebanese ASHRAE Chapter (LAC) has received a USD 5,000 grant from the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut (OEAB) to encourage research in the field of HVAC&R within the local engineering community.
Accordingly, LAC has the pleasure to invite its members as well as interested researchers to apply for this research grant.
 
The applications shall be submitted in electronic format to the LAC secretariat at the following email: ashrae.lebanon@gmail.com
 
The application and research proposal should include the following:
- Abstract.
- Background and Objectives.
- Statement of proposed research and Methodology.
- Expected Out-comes and Potential End Users.
- Budget summary.
- Project Team members and their CVs.
- References.
- The project duration should not exceed 08 months.
- The full proposal document is expected to be in the range of 5 - 10 pages, and delivered in English, French or Arabic.
 
The deadline for submitting applications is April 10th, 2010.
 
The announcement for the incumbent application shall be made not later than April 25th, 2010.
