The Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut and the Lebanese ASHRAE Chapter are organizing two field trips to the Lebanese University Campus in Hadath to visit the technical building, the utilities tunnel and related facilities as detailed below.

The trips will take place respectively on October 31 and November 7 from 9:30 to 1:00 PM. The bus will start at 9:00 AM sharp from the OEAB. Booking will be confirmed by return email, on a first come first served basis, each trip will accommodate 30 persons.
 

The site visit will be hosted by Messrs LACECO (Consultant) and Kharafi National (O&M Contractor).

E&M SYSTEMS COVERED:
- 5x2000 Tons Medium voltage (6.6 KV) chillers with related pumping equipment and cooling towers.
- 4x1000 HP boilers with related pumping equipment and dynamic expansion tanks system.
- Water treatment installations for above systems.
- Underground utility tunnel.
- Sample of energy transfer station installation.
- Overview of BMS system.
- Campus central pumping station and water tower.
